The topic of discussion on last week?s DB has generated a lot of conversation. There are several great posts on how the ?Internet of Things (IoT)? will affect the costs of operations and costs of getting the products to the customers. The posts were focused on operations and strategies internal to the organization. This week, we are reading about best practices in sourcing and supplier stratification. These are looking at strategies external to one?s organization. IoT sure is going to affect the way interactions happen between the other members in the supply chain.
