The relationship you choose should be one in which you have considerable investment and one that you want to improve or develop. The relationship may not be with a family member (parent, sibling, cousin, offspring, etc.) or someone under 16-years-old.
EVIDENCE AND SUPPORT
Describe the type of relationship (romantic, coworker, friend, classmate, etc.) you have or are pursuing with the person. Talk about the history, duration, frequency of interaction, communication channels used for interaction, and other relevant information.
Using the data about 1) your self-disclosure tendencies, 2) self-disclosure across the life of a relationship, and 3) the importance of interpersonal communication in your life, examine your relationship.
