Internal Memo(Proposal) w/ Powerpoint

PROPOSAL PROJECT

Assignment: Write an internal memo proposing a solution to a problem. The goal is to persuade your classmates and me to accept your proposal. There are three components to this project:

The proposal memo
A bibliography of sources (as an attachment to the proposal)
A brief presentation using PowerPoint

Format: Internal memo

Proposal Structure (use these headings)

-Purpose of Proposal – Briefly recap the problem you are solving and introduce your solution. Emphasize that your plan, if approved, will solve that problem.

-Solution or Plan – Describe the change you propose and want approved. Tie your solution directly to the problem you are trying to solve. Consider the following questions:

*Who are the stakeholders?

*How does the solution work?

*How feasible is your solution?

-Conclusion/Recommendation – The conclusion should be a paragraph or two at the most. Sell the idea that you are proposing. Convince us.
Presentation: You will create PowerPoint slide presentation to accompany the written proposal.
