Interview someone from another country other than your own. Specific questions may include, but not limited to, how that culture greets each other, common phrases, acceptable and unacceptable social behaviors, locations of common social gatherings, how much discloser is acceptable and specific topics that are not discussed. I encourage you to research that country before the interview and spend time with the person or group from that culture. Observe their interaction. The purpose of this assignment is to help you learn about a cultural system that is different from yours through reading and through interactions with members of that cultural group. The interview needs to be conducted during the spring semester. Type a two-page paper (at least one and half pages, not more than two pages) on your interview and observation describing your findings. Paper must be typed double-spaced, 12-point font, one-inch margins, and times new roman font. Not following any of these guidelines will result in a deduction of three points total. Paper must be typed in Microsoft Word, any other software will not be accepted. Submit paper in the Paper Submission link under Intercultural Interview Paper.
