IAP Project Instructions (Incident Action Plan (IAP))…Analyze LAPD May Day 2007 IAP Strength & Weaknesses

You are asked to put together a briefing for an upcoming symposium. The audience is comprised of newly elected public officials with little knowledge in Public Safety Plans and Operations.

For this project you are required to find an incident action plan (IAP), and toanalyze this plan.

Based on this analysis you must develop a PowerPoint presentation showing efficiency, effectiveness, and relevance. Identify strength and weaknesses, as well as other important facts and ideas that would help your audience design their own plans.

Your presentation must contain 12 -15 slides, this DOES NOT include a Title slide or Reference slide(s).
***(I only need 6 slides; for analyzing May Day 2007 Strength and Weaknesses
**(5 slides w/notes as in provided example and last slide to list reference(s)).

The speaker notes should adequately explain what the slide is trying to show. (the notes)

A copy of the actual plan, or a link to the plan must be provided. (included)

Each slide should contain a minimum of 250 words which can be a combination of text on slide and speaker notes.

Your project should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.

Your project should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
