Improvement of questionnaire to develop a conference paper

Improvement of questionnaire to develop a conference paper

Order Description
have developed a questionnaire and its methodology to help me write a conference paper about how people involved in entrepreneurial activities perceive the policies developed from top to bottom or the ones endorsed by the top leader. Please have a look at the list of ideas that I think may be considered. They are general so I don’t expect a copy paste from my thoughts, and they are just for your guidance to help you understand where I am heading.

need a very focused specific questionnaire that the content may help understand the area of research and write the paper.
Please consider reviewing the following to come up with improvements:-
– methodology
– questionnaire

The scope is attached for your kind reference.
Introduction
This paper provides the methods of data collection, data analysis and presentation of the analyzed data during an investigation of the research topic: What is the Impact of Oman Culture on Entrepreneurial Policy Making?
The research involves a primary study where empirical data is collected, analyzed and interpreted to enable the researcher understand the research questions. The research targets a study of 100 respondents on the cultures of the people of Oman on entrepreneurial policies. It is estimated that this number is large enough to enable understanding of the current state of the entrepreneurial policy formulation in the Oman.
Research Questions
Some of the research questions that this study tries to investigate include the following:
i. What is the effect of tribal culture of pleasing a leader on entrepreneurial policy development in Oman?
ii. What is the impact of cultural practices on conflicts among stakeholders during policy development?
iii. What are the positive impacts associated with policies formulation by leaders in Oman?
iv. What is the nature of entrepreneurial policies in Oman compared with those of Western countries?
Research Design
The research design will be a primary study that involves interviews with a number of stakeholders in entrepreneurial ecosystems in Oman. A pilot study will be conducted where the participants will be selected among stakeholders in entrepreneurship in Oman. The selected participants will be briefed about the purpose of the research and the need to get responses from them regarding the research. The participants will be provided with the questionnaires containing the research questions through emails. Those who will be accessible will be involved in face-to-face interviews with the researcher.
Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria
The inclusion criteria will be all responses from respondents who are of Oman descent and those who are involved in entrepreneurial activities. The exclusion criteria will be all responses that do not describe cultures of people in Oman. The independent variables will include the culture of people in Oman, the effect of pleasing a leader as well as tribal cultures. On the other hand, the dependent variables will include the entrepreneurial policies, the entrepreneurial ecosystems and the number of enterprises in Oman.
Types of Data to be collected
During the study, the main approach will be qualitative research. In qualitative research, the researcher collects descriptive data or data that can only be understood through description as argued by Bernard (2011). It will be provided by investigating the views, opinions and attitudes of respondents towards the research questions (Ramsay and Silverman, 2002). In addition, respondents will be asked about their personal information such as age and the number of years in entrepreneurial activities.
Data Collection Procedure
During the data collection process, respondents will be sent the questions regarding the study through emails while those who will be within the reach of the researcher will be involved in a face-to-face interview. Respondents will be asked to fill the questionnaires and in turn, they will be required to comply with the deadline set by the researcher. It has been suggested that they will be required to send back the response after one week. All the responses collected will be kept in a database for succinct analysis.
Data Analysis Methods
The main data analysis method to be used will be the use of Statistical package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to analyse the data collected from respondents. The analysis will involve determination of demographic characteristics of respondents such as age, gender, and experience in entrepreneurship. Another method of data analysis process will involve correlation analysis. This is where the impact of one variable on the occurrence of another variable is determined (Kline 2004).
In this study, SPSS will be used to determine the correlation between dependent and independent variables. Furthermore, data analysis will involve reliability and validity analysis. In reliability analysis, the researcher establishes that reproducibility of the same results if another researcher conducts the same study. This will be determined by conducting test-retest process. In validity analysis, the researcher determines if the data attempts to provide the actual outcome of the data collected (Neuman 2005). Validity analysis in this study will be determined by comparing the responses from various respondents to determine the level of similarity between them.
Ethical Consideration during the Research
There are a number of ethical considerations that will need to be complied with in order to enable the researcher to conduct the research according to the principles that will guide research. For instance, it will be required that the permission of respondents to take part in the research should be sought before the research is conducted. It will also be required that the researchers should be assured of anonymity while presenting the responses provided by them during the reporting stage of the research. There should also be confidentiality of the information provided by the researcher so that the data is only used for the purpose of accomplishing the objectives of the study and not exposed to be accessed by unauthorized persons.
Relevance of the Research
This research is perceived to be effective in answering the research questions because it enables understanding the current cultural practices in Oman in affecting entrepreneurial policies development in the region. In addition, this research is relevant in understanding of the impacts of the Oman culture on entrepreneurial policies formulation. By understanding the impacts of the Oman cultures on entrepreneurial policies, it facilitates making a recommendation on policies formulation procedure and determines whether culture should influence the policies formed or not. Thus, it enables creation of policies that promote entrepreneurial ecosystems in Oman region. The information in from this study will be used in the conference paper, thus providing the basis of presentation during the conference.
