There’s a total of twenty pages, but I’d like to divide that into four five-page essays, each focusing on a different NGO or federal agency impacted by the WOTUS rollback. The papers should center around how Trump’s amendments to the Clean Water Act (including WOTUS) might influence each agency’s ability to conserve/manage natural resources (e.g. conserving water, natural habitats, species; managing invasive species or protected species). Each paper can be fleshed out with points of contention between groups in response to Trump’s amendments (benefits to farmers vs. costs to environmental groups, for example). I already have a large list of sources with short summaries/important quotes and a list of some key points I’d like to cover in the paper.
