In addition to the assigned reading, students will find at least two additional pieces of academic reading material relevant to language curriculum design to read and reflect on. The readings can be articles, chapters from a book, or selections from an academic or professional journal. The reflections should include a brief summary of the reading selection as well as personal reactions to the reading and ideas for how the concepts may be applied to language curriculum design. The reflections should be 2-3 pages typed, double-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font with 1-inch margins.
Ideas for reading resources can be found in the Resources page of this syllabus or in the library’s copies of TESOL Journals and TESOL Quarterlies. However, students are not limited to these resources.
