1. Unemployment policies
2. Demand-side/supply-side policies
3. Keynesian/New-classical policies
ANALYSIS (ECONOMIC IMPACTS OF ARTICLE RELATED TO THEORY, USE DIAGRAMS!!!)
1. Obama’s policy for reducing unemployment rate is creating new jobs
— Advantage: More people have jobs
— Disadvantage: Many people now only work part-time/this will likely result in lower wages –> income must be distributed to a larger quantity of labourers
— Disadvantage: Increase in output (due to more labourers) could result in a shift in supply (to the right) (increase) and therefore an increase in average price level (use diagram!!)
2.
EVALUATION
1. Demand-side policies (Keynesian)
Advantages/disadvantages
2. Supply-side policies (interventionist vs. market-based)

16.Part 1
Review the Homeland Security/FBI Domestic terrorism Lexicon, and identify groups and organizations that fit into each category (Refs Scholarly, SPLC,FBI, ADL, other) and identify need for new/expanded categories.
You should prepare a document with your name at the top (no need for a title page). Each category, in the order they are found on the Lexicon, should be the heading for a new paragraph, followed by the entire description (properly cited in AA format).
Then, locate and briefly describe (in at least 3 sentences and at most 3 paragraphs) groups in the U.S. that can be classified based on the description.
Imagine you are preparing a handbook or manual for your investigations section to familiarize with before they interview people.
PART 2
You will receive an Excel spreadsheet with information regarding incidents related to those we have studied in this course. You should be able to open the spreadsheet document with Microsoft Office Excel, even older versions. If you do not have access to such a program, you can download openoffice.org for free or use the online Google Drive, which has Google Docs which is also free. Examine the incidents and suspects of the compiled list of domestic terrorism incidents in the previous decade (NewAmerica). You will be assigned five incidents/suspects this week and five more for next week. Develop information on each of them by searching the public Internet, News sources, legal cases and scholarly material fond in the online APSU library (Westlaw, Lexis, Proquest, etc.). Be prepared to cite and list your references in APA format.
Gather and compile information regarding the incidents and identify which of the previously synthesized indicators you came up with in the earlier assignment were indicated in the events and to what extent. Add each of the indicators (up to 20) to the columns on the spreadsheet. Identify the sources/references you use in APA format.
This work will be the foundation of your work for the next week(s), so in addition to gathering the information, keep a record of where you obtained it (what reference, website, etc., including the parts of the process that yielded no or limited results like the search terms you used on a certain search engine or library database). This week’s work is the bulk of the Comparison Chart that will accompany the Intelligence Report in next week’s assignment.
(include spreadsheet with five individuals/events).
Final Part Comparsion Chart
You have been tasked by the Fusion Center Director with completing an Intelligence Report using your list of incidents and suspects of domestic terrorism incidents from the previous assignment(s). The report should contain a spreadsheet indicating whether the indicators were displayed by the individual and briefly describing other pertinent information, The report should also include a more detailed summary of the findings and method used to gather those findings for each of the individuals you researched. Cite and list your references in APA format.
As an example, for each individual there should be a paragraph for each of the indicators and a summary of the behavior or evidence that demonstrated those indicators. At the end of the summary for the individual, detail the methods used to search for information (public Internet using Google with keywords: a, b, c; searched ProQuest database in online APSU library for . . .; searched LexisNexis case database; searched Homeland Security Digital Library; etc.).
The spreadsheet you were sent should be uploaded to the dropbox completed (all blocks filled in). A separate word document should also be submitted, with a section for each of the incidents/suspects. The sections are expected to be from one paragraph (for those finding no or limited information a paragraph that documents the searches performed) to one or two complete pages documenting what was discovered and the references (sources of the information).
