RESEARCH PAPER – FINAL DRAFT INSTRUCTIONS
Using the information and feedback gained from the Topic, Annotated Bibliography, and Working Outline, you will create a 10–12-page Research Paper on your approved topic. Your title page, abstract, and reference page(s) may not count toward the 10–12 pages. Also, you may not copy and paste your annotated bibliography into your final paper. At least 10 peer-reviewed sources must be used to support your paper, and current APA format must be adhered to.

YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO DO TRIADS!!!

Tindall & Shi chapters 7-12. For a triad, you will need to identify each term, explain the general history of the term, and then explain the common historical significance by all three elements of the triad. Each answer should be a coherent paragraph in which you explain the interconnections among the three items and their significance.

There are a total of 12 triad that which all will be found in America A Narrative History by Tindall & Shi.

Citations: YOU MUST USE CITATIONS as formatted below!!! SPECIFY page # If you do not use citations in the paper I will be forced to reject work. Here are three examples of how I want your citations:

McPherson argued that men fought in the mud. (T&S, 1244)

“Many Unions soldiers echoed Lincoln’s words.” (S&M, 912)

In attempting to explain why soldiers fought, McPherson argued, “Duty and honor were indeed powerful motivating forces.” (T&S, 885)

-No outside sources
Note T&S stands for: Tindall & Shi and S&M stands for Shi & Mayer. Please respond with YES if directions are clear and you would like the order assigned to you. I have included a sample of a traid for reference.
