Human Rights

Choose a human rights issue and do research on the complexities of the issue and then write an informative essay of

1200-1500 words presenting your findings on this human rights issue. The genre of the essay is informative based upon

research and you’ll need to boost your ethos by choosing sources and information that is credible. You should choose a

rights issue that you are interested in since you will be examining it from different angles all semester. You should

also chose an issue that is 1) located geographically and temporally (see prewriting above), 2) an issue of human rights

(not just social justice), 3) one that you do not know much about. You may not choose sex trafficking.
