How Oscar Wilde’s reflected his life in his works, especially in The Picture of Dorian Gray.
When writing my paper I would like to focus on Oscar Wilde?s life and his experiences and how they contributed to his works, specifically The Picture of Dorian Gray. I will dig deeper into the characters of Basil, Lord Henry, and Dorian and analyze their personalities and behaviors. After each character I will then compare Oscar Wilde to each and describe how he is connected to them: emotionally, physically, spiritually, etc. I can also use things from his other works to see if I can find connections in them also. I would also like the paper to focus on Wilde’s homosexuality and his “dandiness” that he exhibited in real life and his works.
