It should
provide an explanation and analysis of why the project is of interest and relevant in the context of
contemporary fashion marketing. You will be assessed on well-justified arguments based on sound
evidence developed from academic and contemporary research which should relate to current and future
fashion
1. Having introduced your project title and aim of the research you must create a
literature review which draws up on academic sources. You must produce a balanced
argument to debate your project title which will offer up a problem with a possible
solution.
2. You must also write a methodology of primary research that you wish to carry out to
further enhance the secondary research that already exists.
3. You must then carry out 3 methods of primary research. It is imperative that you
carry out a quantitative survey online and industry contact in depth interview. The
third and final method can be a focus group or an alternative that can be discussed
with your tutor (a wardrobe edit, a consumer journal etc).
