The Shiva Nataraja This paper is going to highlight on the significance /importance of the Indian idol and a strong pieces of art known as the Shiva Nataraja, also known as (the lord of dance) that was molded out of bronze in the periods between the 12th and 13th Century. The Shiva Nataraja was a piece of art that was created off bronze; it’s a sculpture that was curved out of bronze. As the sculpture curving is a design of a divine dancer performing his dance aimed at destroying sinful world and then paves way for Brahma who is the god and creator according to the Indian community. Shiva Nataraja is depicted as a statue with figures of a man with four hands dancing on flames with one of his left foot carried while the right foot steps on a demon a symbol of ignorance.
