Consider the following questions in completing the Discussion Blog:
– What are your reactions to the film?
– Do you ever feel like just walking out on things, like starting over anew?
…….
…
– Do you think that our responsibilities keep us from walking out on things?
– Are we completely free to do as we wish, or are we bound by our lives (whether we chose them or not)?
– Discuss the emotions that you feel while watching the film.
Be sure to follow the same guidelines as all the previous Blogs. Make sure to have an originial and creative title – do not title it Blog 4 – be original.
The thread will stay open until Tuesday, July 29, at 11:59 pm.
Discussion Blog 5
For Discussion Blog 7, answer the following question over Ibsen’s A Doll’s House Act I.
– Discuss the character of Nora. How does she appear at the start of the play? How do her and her husband (Torvald) react to each other? Notice when Torvald refers to her with pet names versus when he refers to her directly as Nora – what is the difference between these two? Is one positive and the other negative? From Act I, can one say that this is a happy marriage?
