Healthcare and Social Media

Topic: Healthcare and Social Media
Order Description
I want this paper to be a literature review on how the rise of popularity on social media websites like webmd and health grades has effected the general publics
ability to self diagnose and treat themselves. Are these websites ultimately helping or hurting health care in the united states.

Here are the official instructions below.

The literature review should
Be written in the form of an essay and flow from topic to topic. Research on similar topics or with similar findings can be presented together. You might also do it
chronologically, showing the changes in the topic since it was first researched:
EXAMPLE(
“Gender–role stereotyping in television advertising has been studied since the early 1050s when Maccoby (1951) published a study on the impact of television on
children. It was not until the 1970s that a growing concern about about television’s effects spawned a flurry of activity.” )

SO If several studies found the same thing, they should all be cited:
“This is based on the finding that children prefer same-sex models for behavior (Bandura, 1977; Katz, 1979; Kolberg, 1966).” They should be listed alphabetically, not
chronologically.

Just the findings of the studies are included in literature review, not methodologies or what they studied or what their variables were.
When there is no direct research on your subject, find a related area (women’s magazine because there was nothing on teen magazines).
Use direct quotes rarely. It’s best to paraphrase.

Report sparingly on the details of the literature. Summarize the findings briefly.

You can start with names or with the findings:
“Snyder (1997) found that 71% of the active roles went to males…”
“This is based on the finding that children prefer same-sex models for behavior (Bandura, 1977; Katz, 1979; Kolberg, 1966).”
A heading Literature Review is all you need.
