Grocery Assignment

Please spend time in a grocery store comparing food labels and ingredients between three types of food, one being a liquid beverage, one being a frozen meal, and one being a snack food (total of 6 items). The purpose is to reflect on your own food choices and commonly purchased food items. You will reflect on these choices and on how this can impact your patient teaching on nutritional choices for a patient with a specific diagnosis.
Choose an acute or chronic illness and specify how you would educate your patient in using or substituting these food items in their diet. Please give rationale regarding the education you give. Food choices should be specific, and contents of the food label should be integrated into the teaching.
This assignment should be approximately 1-2 pages in length with corresponding references, double spaced and proper margin settings please. If a paper is submitted and it is more than 2 pages in length (not including page) proper format. This is to be completed in APA 6th edition formatting. Please refer to the APA book for instruction on how to avoid plagiarism.
