Discuss the economic impact of globalization on low-income countries

Write an essay on one of the topics listed below. In your paper, you must make
the case both for and against the policy action in question. You should then state your position/conclusion on the issue, and you should develop policy recommendations for
three (3) of the most relevant policy actors.

“Relevant policy actors” could include: government officials (presidents and prime ministers, secretaries/ministers of foreign affairs or defense, Congresses/parliaments); heads of international organizations (UN, EU, NATO, AU, ASEAN, IMF, World Bank); NGO activists;
or any other actor/party relevant to the issue.

The goal is for you to analyze and assess the arguments and evidence surrounding an
important international affairs topic, come to an informed conclusion, and then develop
specific, pragmatic policy recommendations.
