to what style does it belong , is it the French or The Italian?
how does it relate or interact with architecture and the garden?
How do concepts of nature get reflected in the design of the garden?
How is water used? Is it for meditation, display or spectacle?
Compare and contrast.

1. LENGTH: 700 – 1000 words, double-spaced.
2. BIBLIOGRAPHY: at least five printed sources (books, book chapters or journal articles). You may use an Internet database (such as JSTOR) and the Avery Index and WorldCat databases to search for scholarly sources. (Internet-only content is not acceptable unless it is from a credible scholarly source.
3. End notes. Use end-notes for references, quotes, etc… It is better to keep your argument direct and then use end-notes for citations, digressions, etc…
