The research paper will be 5-6 pages long and will examine the historical context of an aspect of either the Holocaust in France or in Italy using primary and secondary sources.

*My recommendation is for you to write on a Holocaust memoir from France or Italy. However you could also write on newspaper articles from the 1930s or 1940s. You could also write on literature or film about the Holocaust in France or Italy.

Compose a draft of your bibliography. This bibliography should identify a list of sources that includes books, journals, and on-line resources (minimum of 10 sources). NOTE: You must annotate these sources—in other words, provide a brief commentary of what the sources contain, assess their academic quality, and address the ways that they appear to be useful to your topic.
