You are to write a formal submission paper designed to present your considered opinions
on relevant matters (as if) currently under review by a government organisation. The review
must concern issues relevant to sessions covering Media ownership, classification and
censorship, national public broadcasters (like the ABC) and free trade, media policy and
deregulation.
Your task is to find a recent or contemporary Review that calls for public comment. These
can be found advertised in newspapers and on government websites, or via the list of Online
Resources in this guide. You then prepare a submission of approximately 2,000 words, as an
individual, or on behalf or an organisation, which addresses the terms of reference of the
chosen review.
