Forensic Science

Forensic ScienceOrder Description
As a crime scene investigator you have been called to a fire in a ground floor bed-sit which appears to have been extinguished in a radiation flashover. The fire was confined to the room of origin. The room door was closed and intact upon your arrival. Explain, with your own diagram of the bed-sit and its contents, in 750 words, how you would proceed to confirm from the damage in the bed-sit that the fire was started with a petrol bomb in a glass container which fractured upon impact, dropped through an open sash window, which was then closed.

You should include evidence of wider reading, in addition to the workbooks, in the form of peer-reviewed references from appropriate books or journals. These should be cited at appropriate points within the text, and listed in a reference list at the end of the document.
