“Legal Analysis and Practical Implications” Students must submit an original paper analyzing one of the following federal labor or employment laws:

•The Family and Medical Leave Act(FMLA);

Student papers should discuss the following:
•an overview of the law;
•an historical perspective regarding why the law was enacted;
•an analysis of the law’s impact in our current business climate (from the perspective of both employees as well as employers); and
•a personal perspective as to whether the student believes the law does, or does not achieve its intended purpose, including what the student would suggest changing about the law if they were a Member of the U.S. Congress.

Submissions should be in APA format, between 8 and 10 pages, double-spaced, justified, and Times New Roman 12-point font.
