During the First World War, were the soldiers at the front as committed to the war in 1918 as they had been in 1914, when the war began?

A short and concise review of The First World War, by author Hew Strachan. Must be engaging in a capable discussion of the book. The paper must be convincing enough that the professor believes I read the book. The review must explain what the author is trying to say in their work. The book’s title should give you a clue as to what the author is trying to say and their take on the subject. DO NOT, however, read too much into the title, as the book is deeper than the somewhat hyperbolic title suggests.

Must also include whether you liked the book or bot and explain why.
