In the course to date, we’ve discussed various approaches to foreign policy including idealism and realism. We’ve discussed the various players in the foreign policy-making process, and we’ve examined some of the results of those policies across the centuries.
For your final essay, write a 6-page discussion of the road ahead and the direction you believe the country should take.
Your essay should make substantial use of the course material and it should have at least three outside reliable sources. You should explain clearly why you’vechosen a particular path and why you think it is preferable to other approaches. Your paper should be in MLA format and have a word count at the end of the text.
Be careful to cite all sources, including the course readings.
The best essays will demonstrate a clear understanding of various approaches to foreign policy and some of the current major foreign policy issues facing the United States.
