etc.
4. PERCEPTIONS – 10 Points
a. What emotions are elicited in the based on the book/film’s portrayal of the person(s) with the disability?

i. BOOK: Recall characters’ words, actions, author’s words, setting, etc.
ii. FILM: Recall artistic qualities, such as lighting, music, costumes, etc.
5. IMPACT ON INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES AND YOU – 10 Points
a. How does the character’s disability affect family members, friends, co-workers, partners,etc.?
b. Include modifications/accommodations needed in the character’s life to meet success and challenges
faced specific to their disability.
c. What specific strategies can you apply to your future profession and life after watching this film?

a. Statements address all components required; includes elaboration and examples.
b. Convincing and uses professional language, no abbreviations or slang.
c. Statements have no major grammatical mistakes, expresses thoughts in an engaging manner.
