Project description
To undertake a substantive literature search and critical appraisal of a body of evidence, and discuss its application to practice, using 10 papers.
You must make reference to research methods materials (books, journals and web resources)
in order to do this successfully and in sufficient depth. Use the usual
referencing conventions when citing your chosen papers, do not refer to them as paper 1, paper 2 and so on.
In designing your project, consider any implications for sustainability, if possible. ‘Sustainability’ means more than ‘lasting’; it means designing and delivering healthcare that uses resources in ways that don’t prejudice future health and wellbeing (Pencheon, quoted in Naylor & Appleby, 2012). You can
think about healthcare in the future and the potential impact, in the longer term, of any intervention or aspect of care you include in your project.
