Topic 1 — (An All-Weather Case-Study) Analyzing Job Applicants Based on Their Resumes
Scenario: See the All-Weather Case in your text.
Task: As the All-Weather Case instructions state, based on your reading of the chapter, the job description
of the position, and the two r?sum?s, help Kioni evaluate the two applicants for the position. List their
strengths and weaknesses in your response, and state which of the two you would select, with your
justification of your decision.
Both of the r?sum?s contain errors, but both also offer some qualifications and experiences that All-Weather
is looking for in a candidate. The process you are going through is similar to the one that people in human

NOTE: See the “Guide for Participation” for this course . You’ll be posting your comments here in the
discussion thread, so they should be legible and grammatical.

information that would correlate with the job ad, and would therefore help you sharply focus your cover

information on the organization?s site. Then write a paragraph explaining how you can use that information to
write a more persuasive cover letter and r?sum
