Explain The price elasticity of the demand for tourism it means foreign people travelling to those countries or price elasticity of the demand of citizens of those countries to travel?
1-Could you please explain The price elasticity of the demand for tourism it means foreign people travelling to those countries or price elasticity of the demand of citizens of those countries to travel?
2- do we need to explain in depth why those countries have such elasticity?
Response:
This refers to demand for tourism in that specific country. It includes the demand for all tourism activities in that country. It also includes domestic tourists in that country. We not referring to the demand for international tourism of people belonging to that country.
So, If the price elasticity of tourism in France is –0.53 that is the number that French tourism businesses will be looking at. It is not the number that foreign tourism businesses associate with French travellers.
You could. But I am more interested in what this means for business.

(c) Why do Governments need to understand the price elasticity of demand of goods that they provide to the public and also of the goods that businesses sell to consumers?
(d) The Government may levy taxes on either the producers or the consumers. Some analysts argue that taxes are invariably paid by the consumer because even when levied on the producer, this is passed on to the consumer by way of higher prices. Explain. In your view, does this argument apply in case of i) business travellers, ii) Lesiuretravellers.
Your report should consist of an introduction (wherein you will discuss what you are presenting in the report), followed by five distinct sections each covering, sequentially, the four questions above and a conclusion. You should also include a page listing the references.
