You need to include a timeline and sample budget as detailed as possible. Identify location, decor, food and beverage option, entertainment and outside contracts that will be used. Discuss the advantages of your choices. Also exam all choices from a Risk management standpoint. How will you mitigate these risks? Be creative in your ideas, but think of the logistics of each input.

Your business has been retained to stage the end-of-season celebration for the local softball association THE GULLS; it is to be held on a grand final night, to celebrate the participation of players in the sport. It has been decided to hire a local facility at a cost of $1000. The theme is “Denim and Diamonds” It is expected that the decoration of the ballroom will cost approximately $3000 and the entertainment will be a DJ that will cost approximately $2500. The food and wine package is approximately $45 per head. The event is expecting 350 participants.

Use a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to identify potential sites and all the vendors you would use for the event, the scope of the work they will be doing. You may expand the budget for decorations and music.

This session will be used to develop the Denim and Diamonds themed event from THE GULLS Softball association. The association is made up of male and female softball players and an administrative body of 5 Directors and a chair. The association needs to develop a fund of money to help in defraying costs.

You will need a room block at a local hotel to accommodate 100 rooms.
