Some examples include: The Notebook (Alzheimer’s disease); Still Alice (early on-set Alzheimer’s disease); Philadelphia ( HIV/AIDS); My Left Foot (Cerebral Palsy); A Beautiful Mind (Schizophrenia); and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (Stroke). Please answer each of the following questions as pertaining to your selected movie. Please make sure to provide enough detail/information for each of your responses.

Please discuss how the chronic illness/condition has impacted the individual, including the impact on different life domains and their sense of self.
Please discuss the role of coping and social support, both formal and informal, that the individual utilized (or did not utilize).
What do you think was an important factor contributing to the individual’s quality of life?
What do you think was a barrier that negatively contributed to the individual’s overall care/well-being?
Last, please discuss your personal reaction, thoughts, and/or opinions about the selected movie and the portrayal of the chronic illness/condition.
