Begin your analysis with a thesis statement written in your own words that sums up the main point(s) of the reading (pretend that none of us have read the reading before). Be specific about the title of the reading and the authors to clarify. At the end of each reading, the authors have posed several questions. Your responsibility is to answer ONE of the questions in your analysis. You choose which question to answer. Your answer needs to include evidence that you have read the article. For example, even if the question asks for your opinion or to share your personal experience, you need to incorporate information from the article to support, clarify, or further develop your answer. Use direct quotes or (even better) paraphrase – just be sure to cite (author,page #)
