Question 1: Choose a paragraph that you feel still needs some revision. Use the strategies you learned in the course readings to revise/rewrite the paragraph you choose. Include both the original paragraph as well as the revision when you submit your assignment. After you complete your paragraph revision, discuss the revisions you made and why you think that these particular revisions helped to enhance and strengthen the paragraph (150 words)

Question 2: Read pages 19-42 and pages 130-178 in A Short Guide to Writing About Literature . Annotate and take notes as you read. The reading this week will deepen your understanding of the literary terms we have been covering throughout the course. In addition, there will be sample essays that offer examples of specific analysis of various texts. It is important that you read through these sample student papers slowly and carefully in order to determine the strengths and weaknesses in the writing samples (2 pages)
