The topic for this discussion will be Energy. Be sure to read Chapters 14, 15, and 16 before starting this discussion. In this discussion you will be writing letters to the editor stating your fact-based opinions. Remember that letters to the editor need to be well written, concise, and express an opinion about a problem, with a possible solution. Letters that are simply complaints in nature seldom get published.

Part 1 of the discussion will be where you write a letter to the editor of a newspaper expressing your opinion about any aspect of the energy supply. Part 1 should be a minimum of 200 words, include a reference, and be completed by the end of Sunday, March 26.
