Entrepreneur Resources Assignment

Objectives:  As a result of completing this assignment, you will:

1. Be more familiar with online resources available to someone starting a business.
2. Be better able to research start-up and other entrepreneurship issues online.
3. Be able to locate appropriate resources for various entrepreneurial needs.

Assignment Guidelines

1. Times New Roman 12 pt. font, 1” margins, page numbers at bottom, name and assignment title at the top.
2. Go to each of the websites listed below. You will be responsible for writing an entry for all of them.
3. For each of the websites listed below, you are to write 2-3 paragraphs describing the following (Each website should have 2-3 full paragraphs containing the following):
4. If this website is sponsored by an organization (for example, SCORE.org or SBA.gov), describe what the organization is and what it’s mission or purpose is.
5. List the general features available on the website. DO NOT merely list the titles of the tabs on the website.  Look at the content of the website and describe what is available.

• Some of the websites are extremely large and exhaustive. If this is the case, focus on the resources available for “start-ups” or some term like that.  Lightly skim the others, but focus on the ones most applicable to starting a business.

Do the above for each of the websites listed.  Use a heading for each website above the paragraphs which describe it.  I am expecting 1/3 to ½ page single-spaced for each website.
