Paper details:Problem 1. Calculate the gas-oil capillary pressure for IFT of 20 dyne/cm and curvature of 0.001 cm. Give your answer in dyne/cm2, psi, and Pa.

Problem 2. Threshold capillary pressure for gas invading an oil-filled rock is 1 psi. The IFT is 15 dyne/cm. What is the size of the invaded pore or pores at the threshold pressure? Give your answer in micrometers.

Problem 3. Calculate the rise of water in a glass capillary of diameter 0.5 mm. The surrounding fluid is air and the IFT is 70 dyne/cm. Assume the contact angle is 10˚. The density difference is 1.0 g/cm3.
