SHERRY: So I researched the Virgin Galactic and looks like it cost about $250,000 to get on board their SpaceShipTwo. Clearly this product is targeted towards a certain group of people. This experience is not an everyday one. it clearly designed to give people the experience of “astronaut status while enjoying floating in zero gravity.” It seems they are clearly the leaders in this respect when it comes to their pricing. The company also seems to be the only one in this market and has no direct competition therefore they are positioned to get their target market no matter what price point they charge.
