Order Description
For this discussion, we’re going to break into 3 groups:

Group 1: Last name begins with A through G;

Group 2: Last name begins with H through N;

Group 3: Last name begins with O through Z.
MY LAST NAME BEGINS WITH S SO ITS GROUP 3!
Group 1: supporters of the new Realist style of painting; Group 2 are supporters of the Pre-Raphaelites; and Group 3 are supporters of this new thing called Photography.

Each person in each group will find a painting (or, in the case of Group 3, a photograph) from this period, and tell the class about it: name of the painting, name of the artist, etc., followed by a fully-developed paragraph analyzing that work in terms of content (what it’s about, what inspired it, etc.), followed by a fully-developed paragraph supporting the work on an artistic basis. One or two sentences will not do here.
