Discuss the need for ethics in Anthropological research. Focus on past abuses of varied groups and individuals by ethnographers that necessitates ethics. Focus on how rigid ethical standardization can be detrimental to ethnographic research.
– The essay should be 1500 words.
– You can bring in class material and discussion to lay the foundation for your essay. However, you must have an argument based on critically thinking about all aspects of the topic.
– This argument should be elaborated and evidenced through careful analysis of existing literature and ethnographic case studies.
