As highlighted in this module’s background readings, the digital divide has many meanings and has changed over time. No one policy issue can address the complexities of the digital divide issues. Making computers equally accessible to all students is a challenge that requires attention to student demographics and attention to different students’ different needs. These considerations are constrained by resources: financial, hardware, and scheduling needs. Develop an essay that discusses the following topics: (USE SUBHEADINGS) What are five strategies to allocate computers equitably within a school? 1)Discuss the local policy initiative from the case study that supports each strategy. 2)Name at least two constraints for each strategy. 3)Discuss the pitfalls and benefits of how a strategy worked for a site. 4)Use one your own 1 article(s) to support the discussion.
