Designing Exercise Program
1. State your goal with your exercise program (weight loss, weight management, etc.). 2. What basics are needed to get you started (equipment, etc.). List and briefly explain? 3. What cardiorespiratory endurance exercises are in your plan? List and briefly explain? 4. How are you developing muscular strength and endurance? List and briefly explain? 5. What flexibility exercises are incorporated and why? List and briefly explain? 6. Heart rate based training – describe what each zone is and how are you going to use it? How much and how long do you exercise in each zone. Be detailed! Find resources. 7. What are you going to do to stay with program? What are three obstacles you may face and how do you overcome those obstacles. Problem Solve and be specific. 8. What are you going to do to continue to progress and not plateau? What principle is used here? Explain in several dimensions. Use the chapter in your book or other resources to get your program put together. Make sure your answers are detailed.
