Describe the convention of the Elizabethan Theater.

i.e.: Historical dramas (relate to history of England), tragedies, comedies, romance, The Masques (short play in poetic language done in indoor

theater with decorated stage usually for wealthy people).

2. Who perform, produce, and organize the plays?

i.e.: Private producers with license. The licenses are obtained from the Master of the Revels.

3. Where does it take a place?

i.e.: Roofless buildings, octagonal shape, galleries (Seatings), groundlines (standing audience), apparent stage, inner stage, balcony, musicians.

4. When does it occur?

i.e.: Afternoon. Between 2-6 pm except The Masques.

Nearly everyday.
5. Role (style) of the theater?

i.e.: Expensive customs, a kid shows where the next scene will be played.
