This assignment asks that you get a jump on your final paper. What is your topic? What is your thesis? Has it ‘morphed’ since you began exploring? What is the argument you are trying to make? What are the points you need make to reach your conclusion? What about legitimate arguments to the contrary? Why is your pov better? And remember your target audience: the non-economist! You are writing an economics paper that a non-economist can read and understand. Minimum: three (3) academically reliable references.
Oh yes, and remember: “rough draft” does not mean “filled with errors and typos” and “sketched out.” You are writing your paper. Yes, your ideas may not be fully developed, and of course they may change, as you are still researching your topic, but this needs to be more substantial than an outline. THIS ASSIGNMENT MAY NOT BE SUBMITTED LATE!
3 to 6 pages; references in addition; 30 points
