Decision Making
Design a process for determining, on a case-by-case basis, which juveniles should be diverted from

court processing. Is this a predictive decision? What is being predicted? How should the decision

process be structured? Who should make the decisions? What kinds of information should be used? How

should it be presented? How would you evaluate the decisions?
