Define hate crime & outline the extent of hate crimes in UK
?You will need to compare what research suggests may cause hate crime with what the Government is doing- are they tackling the most important issues?
Key theories you may wish to discuss include strain theory, ignorance & ‘othering’, theories of prejudice and Chakraborti’s theory of difference and examine theories about the nature & causes of hate crime
