You are required to explore the relevant research-based literature concerning the aspects of leadership you address in your report and to use this research in a critical manner to evaluate the effectiveness of leadership in the film you have chosen. It is expected that you will cite and use appropriately a minimum of 15 research-based sources (refereed/peer reviewed journal articles) related to leadership and leadership theories.
There is a large body of research on various aspects of leadership. Consulting and effectively utilizing the research-based literature is an essential component of this assignment.
Focus of report: This report is designed to explore issues which affect leadership effectiveness. It is not a biographical report per se nor a film critique or a history report. In other words, while you may find it useful to do some reading about the people and situations featured in the film to give yourself some additional background,
it is not intended that your report offer, except as relevant to consideration of leadership effectiveness, extensive biographical details, go into great detail about the historical events or detail historical inaccuracies, or critique the film.
