Please follow the criteria below when reviewing your selected research article for this assignment. Address each of the Criteria I-VI and the related elements. Fully and clearly evaluate the strengths, weaknesses and/or gaps for each of the criteria with related elements. Provide examples from the study with evidence from literature, textbook, or other professional sources to support your analysis. This is an individual assignment.
This assignment requires APA format for the title page, 2 levels for structuring paper, citation in text and reference page. Two level format would include the major criteria centered on the page, and flush left the element related to that criteria you are addressing before you present the analysis.

Criteria

Direction of study and type(s) of hypotheses.
Types of variables.
Operational definitions.
Research question and definition of terms.
III. Study Design
Type of research design.
Alignment of design to purpose and hypotheses/question.
Rationale and relevance of design to purpose/hypotheses, research question.
IV. Methodology
Population: sample demographics, selection, assignment, sample size.
Data Collection: tools/interventions, reliability, validity, relevance to the population. Procedure: rigor and relevance to question/hypothesis.
V. Ethical Considerations
Participant rights: voluntary participation, consent, anonymity, confidentiality, withdrawal, and protection from harm.
IRB approval process at study site.
VI. Analysis
Statistical methods.
Findings of the study.
Inferences or limitations.
VII. Implications
Nursing and/or Healthcare Practice.
Nursing Education.
Nursing Leadership/Administration.

Use the headings from this outline when writing your paper in 2 level format.
All references cited within the paper and on the reference page must adhere to APA guidelines.
