Assignment:
Start this assignment only after you have completed Modules Three and Four, and the associated Readings.
Topic: Critical analysis of a program or provider’s underlying theories and philosophies.
Task
Provide a critical analysis of the theoretical and/or philosophical bases of one of the following:
1. A program in the organisation in which you are working (work can be paid or unpaid).
OR
2. A program or organisation, which you have encountered in your studies for this Unit, including the Case Studies.
Your answer should provide evidence for your analysis by referring to the way the program or provider or period you choose responded to one of the issues in Module 4; and include a reflection on your own values and how they are reflected in your analysis.
NB: ‘Critical analysis’ does not mean negative analysis – it just means weighing up positive and negative aspects, and whose interests are being served.
