You need to employ a Project Officer to start a 3 month project to organise a community fair. The community fair is being funded by the local council and your organisation is responsible for co-ordinating the event. The purpose of the fair is to provide a venue for community members to come and learn about community services available in their area and to also develop a sense of community spirit. The council expects:
A range of entertainment and food stalls to be provided
The event to be child and family friendly
The participation of at minimum of ten other local community organisations that represent diverse services. These organisations need to provide information and suitable resources
Compliance with legislation such as WHS and adequate insurance coverage
Fortnightly progress written reports
Monthly financial reports
