Consumption DisparitPaper details:
A simple analysis of what is the source of the current problem of consumption inequity through government distortion of the private market. Also, how the private sector and government are reacting to it. The reactions may be moving the particular country further away from any semblance of a social optimum, such as the Syrian emigration. Also, by looking at other countries that are more socialist oriented, we may see the path to a destination that we are heading.
Explain how we got here, present government policy with private sector reaction, and your suggestions to follow a present country’s successful path or your own suggestion for a new path.
Do a comparison of earned income and government assistance in relation to consumption across several countries.
• -Syria
• -Itay (Euro debt crisis)
• -Brazil
Also, you may want to look at two agencies of the United Nations. The first is the World Bank, which gives funds for specific projects such as a dam or hydro-electric plant. The second is the IMF which gives funds with no specific project in mind except as a bridge loan to improve a country’s credit standing by encouraging a more market approach coupled with less government subsidies. Also, you may want to look at what the European Union and ECB are doing. You may want to look at regional economic associations from Africa to the Western Pacific. Finally, you may want to look at private philanthropic initiatives from people or organizations such as Bill Gates.
Another item for thought is the “Trilemma” or “Impossible Trinity” in economics
I perceive a paper that states how we got here, present government policy with private sector reaction, and your suggestions to follow a present country’s successful path or your own suggestion for a new path. It would then be summarized in a cross-sectional table or matrix.
